Back by popular demand, Carolina Outdoor Cooking is returning to the Columbia area to offer another one of our highly prestigious and most impressive BBQ classes.
Carolina Outdoor Cooking BBQ classes are designed to educate BBQ enthusiast from the beginner level to the more seasoned pit masters, as well as educate BBQ judges on the complexity and efforts faced by competitive BBQ teams. We have a proven track record of impressive winning results. Several previous graduates have taken what they have learned and moved on to winning multiple BBQ contest and titles, including the 2013 and 2014 SC State Championships.
Carolina Outdoor Cooking classes are oriented to provide participants the knowledge and skills needed to produce the highest quality BBQ in their own backyard, as well as at a competitive level. Participants learn the art and techniques of selecting, preparing, cooking and presenting award winning BBQ including beef brisket, pork ribs, pulled pork and smoked chicken. Our instructional techniques incorporate demonstrations, problem solving, collaborations and hands on experiences to engage participants. You learn by seeing and doing. Quite simply, you learn the skills of a true Pit Master.
